Dozens participated in this week's demonstration in Nabi Saleh against the theft of its lands and spring by the Jewish-only settlement settlement of Halamish and Israeli Occupation. Nabi Saleh residents, supported by Palestinians from nearby villages, Israeli and international activists, marched from the center of the village towards lands taken over by the settlement.

The protest took place followed a siege imposed on the village during the prior week, and a massive night raid, resulting in the arrest of three of the village's residents.

The march was met by an Israeli army attack while marching peacefully on the road leading to the village's lands. Volleys of tear gas projectiles were shot on the entire demonstration from a cannon installed on Israeli military jeeps. Single canisters were also shot by Israeli soldiers directly at people, in violation of the army's own regulations. Israeli forces also sprayed foul-smelling water from a water cannon, directly into houses.

One youth was injured in the forehead by Israeli rubber coated bullet. He was helped into an ambulance that took him to hospital.
