Bil'in's weekly demonstration against the Wall set out fro the center of the village towards the lands that were recently regained following the rerouting of the Wall. Villagers were joined by Palestinian activists as well as Israeli and international supporters, who waved flags and banners and chanted slogans in solidarity with Palestinian political prisoners.

Upon the arrival of he demonstration near the Wall, protesters were able to breach the razor-wire fortification of the concrete wall and proceed to protest closer to the wall. This move was answered by the army in a volley of tear-gas canisters, shot directly at the protesters and a Palestinian television crew which covered the demonstration. Tea-gas canisters also ignited fire in the olive groves adjacent to the wall. Following the barrage of tear-gas, clashes erupted between soldiers and local youth, however soon after the fire was overcome most of the demonstrators returned safely to the village.

In Ni'ilin, protesters marched to the concrete wall shortly after the Friday midday prayer. On arriving to the wall, a small rally took place and a number of speeches were held. At some point soldiers began firing tear-gas and minor clashes developed.
