At noon, protesters gathered at the center of the village Bil'in to march towards the wall. Some dozen demonstrators, Palestinians, internationals and Israelis marched to the rerouted Wall carrying pictures of Mustafa Tamimi who was killed last week in Nabi Saleh. Soon after arriving at the wall the army started shelling demonstrators with tear gas grenades but due to a friendly wind that carried the gas back towards the soldiers, they refrained for a while from shooting at the protest.

Many of the youth who started earlier confrontation with the soldiers at the south end of the reservation moved towards the main demonstration and small clashed erupted. Few demonstrators succeeded to enter the forbidden zone between the barbed wire and the wall. After long while, as the army failed to disperse the protest by shooting tear gas from behind the Wall, soldiers crossed the wall by car and foot. At this stage most of the participants dispersed on the surrounding hills and returned to the village. No injuries were reported. A similar protest was also held in the neighboring village of Ni'ilin.
