Following the a Friday midday prayer in village's lands, residents of Ni'ilin, joined by Israeli and international supporters, marched to the route of the Wall today, marking the third anniversary to the killing of 10 years-old Ahmad Mousa. Mousa was shot dead on July 28th, 2008 by an Israeli Border Police officer. Mousa was hit by a single bullet to the forehead shot in close range.

The protesters marched towards the massive shut gate in the concrete Wall that separates the village from its lands, holding pictures of the slain boy and flying Palestinian flags in his memory. On arrival, Mousa's uncle and village organizer, Hassan Mousa, carried out an emotionally charged speech in memory of his nephew. He said, "Your killing will never suppress our protest".

As protesters symbolically lit a tire in front of the shut metal gate to send a message of continued resistance, soldiers began firing large amounts of tear-gas to disperse the demonstration.

to date, Israeli forces have killed 21 anti-Wall protesters, all of them unarmed. Ten of the 21 were minors.
