A Czech pro-Palestinian activist returned to Prague on Tuesday after she was expelled from Israel, officials said.

The raid was conducted to apprehend Eva Nováková, a Czech citizen, who has been the International Solidarity Movement's media coordinator for the past few weeks. The raid was held despite a recent statement by president Mahmoud Abbas, who said the PA is considering scaling back security ties with Israel over area A operations.

Jerusalem - The Israeli security bodies detained a Czech pro-Palestine activist in Ramallah on the West Bank at night today, the AFP agency reported, citing the activist´s defence lawyer, and adding that the woman has been escorted to the Tel Aviv airport evidently in order to be expelled.
