Video Interview With Ni'ilin Popular Leader Hassan Mousa

On the night 12 December Hassan Mousa and two other grassroots organizers from the village of Ni'ilin have been arrested from their beds during a night raid on their town. The three are suspected with incitement, a blanket charge for organizing demonstrations.

Mousa, 36 years old, is a high school teacher in the village and an outspoken proponent of peaceful resistance to the Occupation. The following video interview was held four days prior to his arrest.

West Bank Popular Leaders Arrested in Ni'ilin

Repression of grassroots organizing continues: Ibrahim Amirah, the coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall in Ni'ilin, Hassan Mousa, a committee member, were arrested tonight from their home during a night-time raid. The two, together with another man, Zaydoun Srour, were arrested under suspicion of organizing anti-Wall demonstrations in the village.
